Everything we hear most about Walk Habit — answered.

How should I use the app?
1. Set Goal
2. Walk with Timer or Record Manually
3. Check Stats
4. Manage Photos
Try in this order!
How is the daily goal set?
It is automatically updated daily based on your Basic Routine and Custom Schedule in the Goals tab.
Can I see the first-time guide again?
Yes. Go to Settings > Quick Start Guide > Show Home Start Guide Card to show it again on Home. You can choose the language too (current app language / Korean / English).
I tapped Ad Personalization Consent but nothing appeared. Is it an error?
Not always. In some regions or statuses, the CMP privacy options dialog may not be required and may not appear. In that case, the app shows a message explaining it.
Will my records disappear when I turn on sample data?
No. Your records, goals, and reminder settings are safely preserved. Sample data is shown in a separate temporary workspace and your original data is restored when sample mode is turned off.
Do changes I make in sample mode affect my real records?
No. Records added or edited in sample mode are only for preview and are discarded when sample mode is turned off. They do not mix with your personal records.
Do goal or reminder changes in sample mode affect my real settings?
No. Goal changes (Basic Routine / Custom Schedule) and reminder changes in sample mode are temporary and revert when sample mode is turned off.
How is the streak counted?
Rest days (0 min goal) count as achieved. You must complete your daily goal to keep the streak alive.
When can I add photos to the album?
You can add photos only when there is at least 1 second of workout record for that date.
How do I create a GIF?
Collect 3 or more photos taken across at least 2 different days in the Photos album to create a timelapse GIF.

Photos all taken on the same day won't work — a timelapse needs at least 2 days of change to show the progression.
How are Walk Clip videos made?
Capture 2 seconds at the start and end of your walk — the two moments are stitched into a single short video saved to Photos.

Skipping the start clip means that walk runs without a video. If you capture the start but skip the finish, no video is made (the start clip is auto-cleaned).

There is no mid-walk capture option — Walk Clips are about recording the start and the end of your walk.
Can I switch cameras while recording?
Camera switching is available only before recording starts (during the countdown). Tap the camera icon at the top-right of the capture screen.

During recording, the toggle is temporarily disabled so the clip stays consistent. You can pick a different camera for the start clip and the finish clip independently.
Can I check my walk progress while using other apps?
On iPhone, your walk appears on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island (iOS 16.1+).

On Android, a persistent notification shows the active walk, and on Android 16+ a progress chip is also pinned to the status bar. You can pause, resume, or stop the walk directly from the notification.

If you don't see it, check the OS notification permission and the in-app notification setting together.
I want to reset my data.
You can reset your data in Settings > Reset Data.
