Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 4, 2026

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Futureseed (the "App") and users regarding use of the services provided by the App.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. "Service" means all features provided by the App, including goal creation, tracking, reflection records, reminders, and related functions.
  2. "User" means any person who uses the Service under these Terms.
  3. "Premium" means paid features or benefits provided through in-app purchase.

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)

  1. These Terms become effective when posted in the App or otherwise notified by reasonable means.
  2. The App may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
  3. When amended, the App will announce the effective date and reason. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

Article 4 (Provision of Services)

  1. The App provides the following services:
    • Goal creation, management, and record features
    • Reminder notification features
    • Library, archive, and review browsing features
    • Sample Mode and in-app guidance features
    • Backup and restore features
    • Premium purchase and related benefit features
  2. The App may change all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons.

Article 5 (Use of Service and Restrictions)

  1. In principle, the Service is available 24 hours a day, year-round, except for maintenance, failures, or external circumstances.
  2. The App may restrict service for use in violation of law or public order, acts that materially interfere with stable service operations, or infringement of rights of others.

Article 6 (User Data)

  1. User-entered goals, records, and settings are stored on the user's device in principle.
  2. If users delete/reset data in-app or uninstall the App, data may be deleted and may be difficult to recover.
  3. Sample Mode uses sample data to demonstrate the app flow. Sample data may be replaced or removed when reloaded or deleted, and edits made to sample data may not be saved. Goals created by the user may be temporarily hidden while Sample Mode is active, but will not be deleted without separate notice.
  4. If users use backup and restore features, restore may replace the current device data based on the most recent backup snapshot. Users should review the in-app restore notice before proceeding.
  5. The developer may not store user-entered data on separate servers; in such cases, restoration of lost data is not guaranteed.

Article 7 (In-App Purchases and Premium)

  1. Premium purchases are subject to the payment policies of Apple App Store, Google Play, or applicable platforms.
  2. Cancellation, refund, and withdrawal rights follow applicable laws and marketplace policies.
  3. Premium benefits may include ad removal and support for ongoing app development.
  4. The App may change premium composition and pricing due to marketplace policy or technical reasons.

Article 8 (Ads and External Services)

  1. The free version may include advertisements.
  2. The App may use third-party SDKs/platform services for ads, billing, and crash analytics; related data processing is governed by each provider's policy.

Article 9 (Intellectual Property)

  1. Copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights related to the App and Service belong to the developer or legitimate rights holders.
  2. Users may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the Service beyond explicitly permitted scope.

Article 10 (Disclaimer)

  1. The App is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure, natural disasters, or user-attributable reasons.
  2. The App is not liable for data loss caused by device change, deletion, loss, OS failure, or similar user-side factors.
  3. The App does not, in principle, intervene in disputes between users or between a user and a third party.

Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  1. These Terms are governed by applicable law determined by the service operator and relevant regulations.
  2. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent court under applicable law.
